On the horizon...
Lots happening at school next week...
- The grade 5/6 French class is going to Moose Jaw, and to fundraise, they are having a bake sale on Monday. Students can purchase homemade baked goods at recess.
- The grade 7/8 French class is doing the 30 Hour Famine this week, and they have a few fundraising activities going on. There is a penny jar in our class for students to donate to. The 7/8s will be rolling all the money the night they stay over at the school.
- They are also holding a carnival on Friday at lunch time. Students can purchase tickets Tuesday, Wednesday of Thursday at lunch or recesses. A 2$ ticket gets them 4 activities/centres. They will include: real juice freezies, face painting, games, etc.
- The 7/8 will also be busking outside the school Thursday, April 26th, from 5-6pm. Drop by for a listen.
- Also next week, the book swap is going on. Students can go at recesses or lunch to swap books. Students can bring books from home to trade for a book buck and get a new book. Students will also be getting 2 book bucks from the school to start, so everyone will have a chance to get at least 2 new books.
