Yesterday we finished reading Out of Darkness, the story of Louis Braille's life and accomplishments. Today, we looked at some books with Braille, a Brailler and some tools used by those who are visually impaired.

| A Perkins Brailler. Mme is going to try to figure out how to use it so we can write our names in Braille to take home. Each of the three keys on either side of the middle key makes one of the 6 dots in the Braille cell. To make a character with all six dots, you press down all six keys at once. |
