Volunteers needed!

With June soon approaching, I will be looking for parents/guardians who are able to come along on some fun trips that we have coming up.
June 5th - Pike Lake - This is an all day trip (leaving at 9am, returning at 3:15pm) We will need parents to help with our BBQ lunch and supervise. We will be hiking, pond dipping, mini golfing and having a BBQ. Because space is limited on the bus, it would be wonderful if you could provide your own transportation.
June 12th - Library excursion - We will be walking to the library after lunch (12:45pm) and returning after the program finishes at 2:45pm. I would love to have a few parents that would be able to accompany us.

If you are able and willing to come along on any of these trips to help out, it would be much appreciated. Please contact me if you have any other questions, or if you would like to volunteer. As always, thanks for your continued support this year!

The countdown is on!

This morning we were welcomed by a big string of balloons across the board, all numbered from 25 down to 1, because there are only 25 days of school left! Each morning a student will pop a balloon and read the message inside. (Today it was No Shoes in Class day - we didn't have to wear shoes in our classroom). I wonder what tomorrow will bring...

Grasslands tomorrow

Reminder that we are going to Grasslands tomorrow. PLEASE DRESS APPROPRIATELY!
Students also need a lunch and a backpack to carry it in. We will be at school until about 10am and then gone to Grasslands for the remainder of the day, returning at about 2:30pm.

A short but full week. A few reminders...
-Thursday we are going to the Grasslands. The program will go ahead regardless of weather. Please dress appropriately (boots, jackets). We will be having lunch there, so a bag lunch is required.
-If you have not already done so, please send back the yellow form with any changes that need to be made.
-There will be no dictee this week because of the short week and our trip to Grasslands.
